Ayodhya Elegance: Transform Your Home with Timeless Indian Décor

Make Your Homes Like Ayodhya

It is said that God lives in a clean house; cleanliness is not only to remove dust from the house; cleanness is to have a good and positive atmosphere; it's like if your home is beautiful but there is no respect for anyone, it's not like a clean home. Diwali is the biggest festival and the best time to paint and clean your homes and workplaces. Before Diwali, people clean their homes, offices, and shops for Welcome goddess Laxmi. People decorate these places with flowers, lanterns, oil lamps, paintings, and more décor.

Diwali is celebrated because on this day Lord Rama returned from 14 years of exile after killing Ravana. To welcome Lord Rama, the people of Ayodhya celebrated this day like a festival; they decorated their houses and lighted oil lamps all in the city. So from that day on, this day is celebrated as Diwali every year. Not only people decorate their homes, but the temples are also decorated on this day. From that time, the festival is celebrated similarly; in Ayodhya, more than 20 lakh Diya's were lit to celebrate this special day. Every Indian and Hindu can feel the happiness that was felt by Ayodhya Vasi on the day when Lord Rama returned from exile.

5 auspicious days of Diwali

Day 1: Dhanteras: This day is considered the most lucky day for a businessman. On this day, people prefer to buy new utensils and gold and silver coins of Mata Laxmi and Ganesh. Also, some people buy salt and whole coriander seeds, saying that they also have religious value on this day. A huge number of devotees buy brooms on the day of Dhanteras.

Day 2: Choti Diwali: This is the most important day of the Diwali festival. On this day, the idols worshiped on last Diwali were worshiped again to say them bye. It is important because if we don't worship old idols on this day, we can't bring new idols of Ganesh-Laxmi into the temple.

Day 3: Diwali: On the day of Diwali, idols of Lord Ganesh and Devi Laxmi were worshiped. Some people celebrate Diwali as a new year for a new beginning. That why Lord Ganesh was worshiped firstly because he has first place in all the Hindu gods, and Mata Laxmi is worshiped for blessings of wealth and good luck.

Day 4: Govardhan Puja: On this day, 5200 years ago, Lord Krishna lifted the entire Govardhan mountain on his small finger after Lord Indra got angry with the Gokul peoples and started thunderstorms and heavy rain. Lord Krishna has done all this to teach a lesson to Indra, who is the king of gods.

Day 5: Bhai dooj: Bhai dooj is when a sister worships god for their brother's life. She does pujan in the morning and then applies tilak to the forehead of her brother and gives him a whole coconut. This day has a very big place in brother-sister festival. After Raksha Bandhan, this day is the biggest festival for a brother or sister.

Putting toran on the entrance of the home and temple is considered very good on this day. Many people put the footprints of Mata Laxmi in the middle of the entrance door of the house. People made Rangoli on this day in their homes, offices, and shops, and even students made Rangoli in schools. Diwali decoration is the main prospective to welcome goddess Laxmi.

Poojabox's concept is that every devotee should find all the decoration products in the same place so they don't need to go anywhere for buying all these products; they can buy whatever they want at affordable prices.
